OFFICE 2003 See What's New

Click on any word in red to see more information on that topic!
Office 2003 is the new standard for Office Suite Applications at CCAC.  MS Office 2003 provides an integrated suite of software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Publisher.

Office 2003 will be deployed on all classroom PC's for the commencement of the Fall 2004 semester.  All PC's in College offices will be upgraded to Office 2003 between September 13, 2004 - March 15, 2005.

You will see little difference in the functionality of each of these software programs; you will notice a new "look and feel" to Outlook.  And, as usual, each software program includes some "new features" to make your work more efficient.  This web page provides highlights of the new features from Office XP to 2003.

Finally, Access allows you to easily create a backup file from within your database.   Click on File, Back Up Database.

Search folders contain links to email based on prescribed categories of mail.  The Search Folders for Follow Up, Large Mail and Unread Mail come with the software.  You can create and customize these search folders to meet your needs.
Line Callout 3 (Border and Accent Bar): Package for CD
You can package one or more presentations to burn to a CD/ DVD for easy viewing.  The PowerPoint Viewer is included by default so you do not have to have PowerPoint loaded onto the computer that may be used to view your presentation.
